The popular Indian motorcycle brand Royal Enfield has introduced the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India at Rs. 2,10,684 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) adding a military-inspired special edition to its popular 350 cc motorcycle. Bookings for the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition have started from today August 18, with a range of cosmetic changes setting it apart from the regular model.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is primarily distinguished by its Gorkha Green paint finish and a bespoke insignia featuring the crossed Khukris associated with the Gorkha Regiment. The look and graphics inspired from the heritage of the Gorkha fraternity aka military-inspired appearance while the motorcycle retains the famous Classic 350 design.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition paint is paired with the modelโs familiar chrome detailing and wire-spoke wheels keeping its overall character closely linked to the standard Classic 350. The Gorkha insignia is the main visual highlight copying the special edition directly to its military inspiration. Mechanically there are no changes.
The motorcycle continues with Royal Enfieldโs 349cc J-series single cylinder engine which develops 20.2 bhp of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a five speed gearbox while an assist and slipper clutch is also part of the specification. A Type C USB fast charging port is new key addition to the specification list.
The Classic 350โs upright riding position and familiar chassis layout remain same. Alongside the motorcycle Royal Enfield has also launched a matching Gorkha Collection. It includes riding gear and lifestyle products inspired by the regiment such as dual-certified Jet and Quest helmets, high-ankle distressed leather boots, multi-functional headgear, apparel and collectibles.

The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition uses regimental crimson, olive green, matte black and warm bronze across its products. Crossed Khukri motifs, army inspired insignia, embroidered badges, heavyweight cotton twill and distressed leather form the main design elements. The new Gorkha theme also aspire to represent and dedicate the badge as an acknowledgement of the courage, discipline and resilience associated with generations of Gorkha soldiers.
Speaking about the launch, Yadvinder Singh Guleria the Chief Commercial Officer Royal Enfield, said- the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition was created to honour the regimentโs legacy. Lieutenant General Sanjeev Chauhan AVSM, YSM, President, Gorkha Brigade described the motorcycle as an acknowledgement of the traditions associated with Gorkha soldiers.
